CALLING ALL PLUSHIE FANS

We’ve teamed up once again with our friends at MakeShip to bring one of our creations from game concept to plush, cuddly reality—and we need your help! We’re just a few pledges away from taking the humble Goo Ball off the design table and into production!

The pledge drive ends on Sunday, April 13th at 8:00am, so if you have $2 to spare and 3 minutes, and are interesting in getting your very own Goo Ball plushie in the near future (perhaps one to throw at your friends while yelling “YAMAKO!”),  please consider pledging here:

With only two more weeks to go, expect a few more surprise announcements in the next week or two…

I remember hearing that people who bought the game through the website would get a Steam Key in the replies of a previous post. Will the game need to be uninstalled and then installed again to have it on your steam library? Will save data carry over?

    Estimated Tomorrow Corporation/2d Boy.
Ever since i was a child, barely able to remember things, i recall playing your wonderful game, world of goo. And growing up i remembered and replayed it multiple times along the years. It has given me so many beautiful memories, exceeding from just gameplay. I loved it. I began imagining my own levels and gimmicks. So naturally, my excitement when seeing a new sequel being announced was by far more than enormous. I screamed. And jumped. My childhood game returning. And i loved every Single bit of it. It was perfect. But sadly, the best things last very little. And i desired more. Some people suggested having some sort of level creator. It might be a lot of work to incorporate such thing in an already finished game though. But whatever it is, new content in ANY way. Would be awesome. And i speak for the millions of Fans out there in this. Because i have met lots of people who played it as children aswell!

And i just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for All. Even if nothing much new Was to come.

    Kind regards

    Ignite.

Will it also come to the DRM-free website version? Will we get steam keys if we already bought the game through the website?

    • KyleGray says:

Yep! Everyone that bought the game through our site will get a Steam key, and the DRM-free will get the same updates.

New levels? An options menu for the first time? New plushies?! Man, World of Goo 2 is shaping up to be not just the greatest video game sequel of all time, but also 2DBOY’s magnum opus! Amazing game, and congratulations to everyone who has worked on the game! It was a blast to play through, and I give it 10/10 stars.

I Really hope the switch can now be played with a joystick when using two controllers and not just motion controls, also the mouse setting for the Nintendo switch 2 would be perfect
