Soundtrack Preview: Years of Work

Here is another excerpt from one of the 47 tracks on the World of Goo 2 soundtrack!

This track, “Years of Work”, features the talents of 23 musicians from our community. For those curious about the process – we provided each musician with a click track, as well as some melody and harmony lines to play and/or improvise around. Each musician then recorded themselves at home, at school, etc. And then we edited it all together.

Only 4 days left until World of Goo 2 releases on August 2!

Will you be selling the game in STEAM?

I saw the continuation of the beauty from part 1 of chapter 2, but will there be a continuation of the story of mom from part 1 of chapter 3?

I’m so hyped! Can’t wait to hear the full soundtrack when the game comes out

I feel a prominent need to ask. Will you be putting the OST onto Spotify, YouTube, and other streaming platforms when it releases? Furthermore, if you do, would that also mean you’d be willing to put the original World of Goo soundtrack up on those platforms as well? I’ve wished for a while that there was more ways to listen and stream the OST than just YouTube, from a random person who was kind enough to do so. Either way, WoG2’s OST sounds amazing already, that’s why I feel so strongly about this

      • Gooballer says:

If they don’t upload the full soundtrack to YouTube I probably will, but I can’t put the WoG or WoG 2 songs onto Spotify since I don’t own the rights to those songs. We just gotta hope that they do that when the game comes out

Right-o. Sorry, I’m not sure why it replied to your comment, I meant to reply to the post. But yeah, I do hope they at least upload the full OST to Spotify and/or YouTube
