For what seems like a very long time, we (the two Kyles and Allan) have been locked away working on a strange new game. We’re starting to see flickers of life, and they are getting brighter. So we thought this might be a good time to start sharing.
We just overhauled and updated this site to become our work-in-progress dev ‘log from here on out, to track the progress of our new game Little Inferno, leading up to a release by this winter on multiple platforms.
We’ve been quiet about this game so far to avoid being another lost adorable indie game that never materializes – but now we’re almost done! And we’ll post some first bits of real info on Little Inferno in a few days. So keep an eye on this space if you’re curious to track/participate in the development of Little Inferno, with RSS or something. Does anyone use RSS anymore? Ham radio? Or is it social face places now? Can my Netscape Navigator do that?

Oh, and to answer the question: Fuse Goo Balls. Or Bit Goo Balls; they explode nicely. Basically anything with a burntime, detonateforce, detonateradius, and explosionparticles set. Or maybe a building full of fireworks. That’d be pretty sweet too.

One can always set fire to the rain, which is very trendy these days… And yeah, I used to set fire to 1 meter pieces of toilet paper and let it fly out of the window from the 15th floor of my granma’s apartment. It was so cool, some kind of beautiful and sad sacrifice kite, a fiery dragon who’s as brilliant as brief… Oh, the poetics of toilet paper and fire!

The following is a story 🙂
Our intrepid adventurer is going through the jungle. He comes across some ancient ruins. He discovers a secret passage and enters the temple. Inside he burns spider webs (stupid spiders no one likes you), obstacles, torches and other goodies as he searches. Eventually he finds “The Torch of Never Ending Flames”!!! What could go wrong with never ending flames M I Right?!? He lights the torch. The torch comes alive and goes out of control lighting things all around the world on fire. Eventually the dumb torch lights the icecaps on fire and the world is submerged in water. The few remaining survivors travel the world in ships searching for dry land and petrol…hmm that last part seem familiar, anyway…hope you liked my story..love WOG can’t wait for awesome games from the crew.
I’d like to set a fire on fire. Can you make this dream of mine a reality?

I would set on fire some sort of rubric’s contraption, such as a string covered in kerosene wrapped around a candle, which then lights and floats its own hot air balloon. The balloon turns a wheel which spins a tube so the ball inside drops onto a lighter. The lighter sets off a firework which shoots into the air.
So uh, is this what the game looks like?

Somehow I always end up with a flame-thrower in hand if a game has one and everything around me ablaze. Obviously I was not alone. I silently cheer you on my fellow pyromaniacs.
I’d like to see fire stop an alien invasion of Earth. If the world’s burning, there’s less reason to invade … although, it would probably be better if the aliens caught flame as well.
It would be neat if it’s a physics game where you can burn ropes to fuel a oven.
