Starting May 23, subscribers to Netflix will be able to get the Remastered Edition of World of Goo on iOS and Android. It will be automatically included in your Netflix subscription, just like episodes of your favorite TV baking shows.
The game has been remastered to work on the latest fancy devices, all art is twice its classic resolution, and you’ll be able to play across all your mobile devices with cloud saving. As it has always been, the game will continue to be free of ads and in-app purchases.
This edition has been localized into more languages, now supporting: English, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Hungarian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Portuguese (Brazil), and Turkish.
The existing classic edition of World of Goo will be unlisted from Apple’s App Store and Google Play on May 11, but it will always be available for re-downloading to those who have already purchased it.
The Remastered Edition of World of Goo for Win / Mac / Linux continues to be available on Steam, GoG, Epic, and directly from the developer.

It’s funny that you’d post this today. I’ve just recently been on a big world of goo nostalgia kick. I love the game, but I’m too good at it now. Even after not playing for a few years, I can beat every level in just a couple of hours. Playing World of Goo isn’t enough to satisfy my desire to play World of Goo anymore. I hate to be the millionth person to ask this, but would you guys ever consider a sequel, or maybe creating some modding tools? I know there are only 3 of you and it’s a big ask, but you’ve created such a unique experience that I’ve never seen replicated anywhere else, and I miss it terribly.
There already is a modding website called goofans.com where lots of people made really cool levels and chapters. Though it wasn’t made by Kyle and Ron, they know about it and support it. As for the sequel, they said it’s a possibility but that was 10 years ago.

You can but you have to jailbreak and do a bunch of complicated shit and it’s really buggy, and you have to connect it to a computer every time you play a custom level on phone. So not worth it at all
The game content is all exactly the same, other than image resolution has all been doubled. You can also get the double resolution Remastered Edition on your computer at the links above – free downloads for anyone who already owns the game, even if you bought it 15 years ago.
Some minor things have changed over the years, like slight tweaks to level order to smooth out the learning curve. I don’t remember if we changed anything specifically in the Whistler level – did we? If so it must have been minor!
Actually I take it back that it was changed for the remaster, there are two different sign dialogues but they’ve both been around forever it looks like. I only had my CD-rom to compare to the Steam version lol
