We are a 3 person team. Here are our games so far:

Human Resource Machine Launches TODAY! Time to work!

Human Resource Machine opens its doors today! Available for Windows and Mac on Steam, GOG, Humble Store, and right here on our site where you’ll get a Steam key as well as cross platform DRM free versions.

Wii U and tablet versions coming soon.

Extra big thanks to our beta testers, translation volunteers, friends and family, and all the little workers who didn’t make it!

INDIEPOCALYPSE!

By sheer coincidence, two of our indie friends are also launching their games today!

Ron Carmel, Kyle Gabler’s co-creator on World of Goo has launched Subterfuge – an online multiplayer game that plays out in real-time over the course of about a week. Available today on iOS and Android.

And our friends at Untame have launched their multiple award winning Mushroom 11, a goo-ey game Kyle helped fund via Indie Fund.

Any chance for a Linux version of HRM? I love programming games!

    • Martin says:

Chance? Probably. The Wii U version has been released recently. After that, Tablets might be a target. Tablet versions could be released next year. After that, the developers might have the time for a Linux port.

  2. Lachlan Easton says:

You need to update the GOG and Humble Store links, they aren’t linking directly to the game.

  3. Really excited about HRM.
    I’m doing a LP on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJlUESqNj70
Would appreciate some shouts on Twitter 🙂

  4. Jebril says:

    Programming game not on Linux……..:(

  5. Beta Ninja says:

Started playing just a little bit today, not much free time. But I’m having fun! I’m looking forward to climbing up the corporate ladder. Can’t imagine how the game could be modded, though. Is there a fan page for HRM yet?

  6. CJordan says:

The Windows version works on Linux just fine using wine! I played the first few levels and watched the first checkpoint video.
(I’m on Linux Mint 17.2 (derivative of Ubuntu 14.0.2) using wine 1.6.2.)

Also, the Humble widget shows the music icon and says “download MP3” when I hover over it, but when I click on “What’s included?”, it doesn’t mention the music. It only says “Get Human Resource Machine now for Windows and Mac, DRM-free + a Steam key!”
I bought the game and I don’t have an option for downloading music right now.

Will the music become available to purchasers at a later date?

(Also, I was able to get FLAC format music for WoG and LI. I hope I can for HRM too!)

  7. LRFLEW says:

Ok, I’m confused. The direct purchase option says there’s an MP3 download for the soundtrack, but Steam, GOG, and even the Humble Bundle page has no mention of it. It’s also not mentioned in the “What’s Included” blurb. Is the soundtrack actually available, and if not, will it at some point?

    • KyleGray says:

We’re planning on making the OST available on our website when it’s finished. Kyle has a few odds and ends to finish to get it out the door and we’ve been pretty busy getting this game out the door. We’ll put a post up on the ol’ blog when it’s ready to go!

  8. ThibG says:

Hey, this seems nice! Is a Linux version planned?

  9. Goncalo says:

I would also love a linux version. Hate to boot windows just for this.

  10. Herb says:

The Human Resource Machine is really a great game! Almost finished it on the PC, only two floors left 🙂 Will there also be an Android version? And if so, which screen size will be supported?

  11. Jason says:

Absolutely loving HRM, beautiful game, very educational, very useful to teach my daughter programming, wonderful dry humor. Didn’t have to think much about buying Mushroom 11. Bought it on Steam within 30 seconds of reading that Kyle funded it. Feel like a kid again 🙂

  12. Adrian Martin says:

Bought it straight after watching the intro vid….played and played only the Prime Factors puzzle to finish.

Looking forward more puzzles, and maybe a second employee/register – can imaging the animation being fun for that…

  13. Dariost says:

This game seems really good; waiting for the Linux version to buy it.

  14. matthias says:

Linux: Works fine with playonlinux (wine). Still hoping for a port, though.

  15. Yury says:

I think that HRM ideally fits into Android and ios. Waiting for it.

  16. Alex carrera says:

After playing little inferno i will buy anything your name is attached to… Can’t wait for the Android version.
