Like an unstoppable, dripping Jelly Ball, World of Goo 2 is rolling on to the PlayStation 5 store on April 25, 2025. The goo balls have never been on a Sony platform before, and they are very excited to arrive!
The PlayStation 5 version is scheduled for launch alongside the previously announced Steam release and will be controlled using the PS5’s buttery smooth DualSense Six-axis motion sensing system. It also features:
Three new extremely difficult challenge levels.
Over 30 Extra Fabulous Achievements.
An acclaimed soundtrack – with over 47 tracks and nearly 2 hours of music performed by over 50 musicians from the World of Goo community.
World of Goo 2 is coming to Steam on April 25! There will be three ridiculous new levels, designed especially for the most clever, the most hardcore, the most goo-imbued players. (Even some of the development team have been unable to complete them.)
Updates will include:
Three new extremely difficult challenge levels.
Over 30 Extra Fabulous Achievements.
A Brand New Options Menu! Never before included in a 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation game.
A bunch of bug fixes and more.

CALLING ALL PLUSHIE FANS…
We’ve teamed up once again with our friends at MakeShip to bring one of our creations from game concept to plush, cuddly reality—and we need your help! We’re just a few pledges away from taking the humble Goo Ball off the design table and into production!
The pledge drive ends on Sunday, April 13th at 8:00am, so if you have $2 to spare and 3 minutes, and are interesting in getting your very own Goo Ball plushie in the near future (perhaps one to throw at your friends while yelling “YAMAKO!”), please consider pledging here:
ATTENTION Steam fans! We’ve been quietly readying World of Goo 2 for new platforms in a continued effort to help World of Goo fans answer the important questions: What happens if you poke Goo with a stick? How has the world changed after all this time? What new gameplay possibilities will we discover? What wonderful new creatures, and characters, and ancient monuments will we meet?
World of Goo 2 is coming to Steam in Spring 2025… so this year… and SOON!
The Steam version will include fabulous new achievements, as well as some other updates (many of which are coming to ALL versions) we can share soon. Keep checking back here or on one of our various social things.
We’re grateful to Epic for funding development of the game – World of Goo 2 would not exist without this arrangement – and our exclusivity period has now ended, which means the game can now come to more platforms.
Got a Steam account? Please consider adding World of Goo 2 to your wishlist if you haven’t already. Adding to your wishlist helps us get the game to more people – it nudges the Steam algorithm to share the game more widely, so clicking that button is very appreciated!
Thanks for your support, and we hope you love this game as much as we’ve loved building it! Your Friends at Tomorrow Corporation and 2DBOY

It’s like holding a video game… in your hand! What is this MAGIC?!
Hello lovely Goo fans! If you’ve been looking for the right World of Goo themed gift for that special Goo fan in your life, look no further!
Just in time for the holidays, we have a bunch of World of Goo 2 themed announcements piping hot off the presses. Thanks to our partnership with Fireshine Games, you can now find World of Goo 2 on a physical cart for your Nintendo Switch at your local video game purveyor.
For the audiophiles out there, the ever-talented Jonny Trengrove managed to wrangle the entire original World of Goo 2 soundtrack on to non-Discman style devices. It’s now available for your eager ears to give it a listen on Spotify, Apple Music, or Youtube Music.
You now have our permission to turn off the sound on World of Goo 2 and listen to… World of Goo 2 music! On your headphones! Or computer! Or phones! Or wherever you listen to music.
Last, but not least, Kyle Gabler put together some T-shirts for the team using official World of Goo 2 art. While the website isn’t official, and it doesn’t officially make us any money, enterprising fans can order their own and become their own Goo-d Will Ambassador in their local gaming community.
Please note, the following T-shirts are filled with SPOILERS! If you have not yet beaten World of Goo 2, please avoid clicking on the following links… or else, cover your eyes and blindly click around until you hit the buy button – it’s gotta be there somewhere, right?
Thanks again to everyone for their support! The team is still hard at work on World of Goo 2, and we hope to bring you future updates on our social channels and this website. Happy Ho Ho Holidays everyone, and a Happy New Year!
